Court Dockets

Certified copies of these documents can be purchased in person at the Titus County Clerk's office, or by mail, sending a money order or cashier's check for the correct fee to:

The County Clerk also accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover for all services such as purchasing a marriage license, ordering a copy of a document or paying a court cost or fine.

Fees are $1.00 per page copy, and $5.00 per document certification fee.


Official Public Records

Official Public Records (OPR) consist of all publicly accessible documents recorded by this office and may include deeds, mortgage documents, easements, assumed names (d.b.a.), powers of attorney, bills of sale, and liens.


Birth Certificates

Only for births that occurred in Texas are available via this office. Birth certificates are not public record.


Death Certificates

Only for deaths that occurred in this county are available via this office. Death certificates are not public record.


Marriage Records

Marriage records (applications and licenses) that were issued by this county are available via this office.

Court Records

  • Civil Court
    Court cases under $20,000 as well as condemnation and workers compensation matters from 1983 forward.
  • Misdemeanor
    Class A & B misdemeanor such as DWI, DUI, Hot Checks, Theft by Check and Possession of Marijuana as well as Class C appeals from justice and municipal courts from 1983 forward.
  • Probate Court
    Court cases involving wills, guardianship, trust and other probate matters from 1993 forward.

Commissioners Court

Commissioner Court agenda, minutes and documents from 1895 forward.
