 Post Mark Update

*IMPORTANT NEWS*

USPS recently reported that they are not always postmarking mail on the day it is received. The Postmark on your ballot can determine whether or not we can legally accept your ballot. If you are mailing your ballot close to the election day, please be sure to enter the post office and have them manually postmark your ballot to ensure it accurately reflects the day you put your ballot in the mail. This is only necessary IF you are mailing close to election day or on election day.

  • Update: New Voter Registration Cards were shipped on Feb 5, 2026. They are orange. If you do not have it by the time you come to vote, we can check to see if it was returned to our office. If it was, we will need to do an address verification form to confirm the address we have here is correct.

Update: Secretary of State sent the reports out today, to start the mass mail out process for new voter registration cards. I will post the date the vender mails them as soon as I know. 1/20/26

Update: Due to the redistricting lawsuits, the new voter registration cards have not been approved to be mailed out yet. We will update this post when they are. -1/13/26

We are starting the process of issuing the new voter registration cards today. Around the first of the year you will receive a new "orange" registration card, at the last mailing address we have on file for you. If you do not receive a card by January 15th, please reach out to our office, to see if it was returned to us for some reason.
We have been working hard to confirm every boundary line in the county for Voter Precincts, Commissioner, JP, and Constable Precincts, School Districts, City Limits, and much more. We have had to make changes to some areas. So be sure to look at your Voter Precinct Number, on your new card. This will affect which voting location you are now assigned to. If you have questions you can call our office at 903-575-0902. You can also use the interactive map, on the CAD, to look up this information to confirm.
